Apple Ridge Farm is a 96 acre retreat settled in the Blue Ridge mountains in Copper Hill VA. It’s founder Peter Lewis created this space to allow under-served children in the Roanoke Community to learn and grow while playing outside. Our summer camp runs for 6 weeks and has allowed over 80,000 children the opportunity to explore, learn, and build a stewardship for our environment, as well as a build friendships and character. Its unique blend of academics, outdoor recreation, and adventure to inspire scholastic success, build social-emotional skills, nuture environmental stewardship and encourage healthy lifestyles. Apple Ridge Farms’ mission to transform the lives of our communities under-served children and families through engagement in unparalleled educational, cultural and outdoor experiences is at the heart of all we do.

 Apple Ridge Farm is not only a center for youth but as center for adults with team building programs and a high ropes course. It is also a wedding venue with 3 Airbnb Caboose Car rentals and a lodge that sleeps 32. It has a pool, a zip line, Observation tower, basketball and tennis courts, a dark sky observatory, and 5 miles of hiking trails.
